Grace Bank
January / Grace make project
Pig-shaped bank make project with printable templates, Grace tokens, message insert, instructions, and future box-equivalent metadata.

Why We're Doing This
The bank experience gives children a concrete surprise: there is more grace inside than they put in. That does not mean actions do not matter. It means belonging is not bought by perfect behavior.
Build The Bank
- Choose the paper/cardboard DIY bank, envelope bank, or future prepared kit.
- Let children decorate the bank as a place that can hold Grace tokens.
- Give each child a small number of tokens to place inside.
- Later, let them discover more Grace tokens than they put in.
- Connect the discovery to repair and belonging: We fix what we can because we care. But the love's not on the line.
Templates, Tokens, Message Insert, And Cutting Assets
These free pieces are the DIY equivalent of any future prepared kit.
Grace Bank Templates And Tokens
Printable pig bank template, Grace tokens, message insert, instructions, and cutting guide.
Grace Bank
Fold, tape, or attach this pig-shaped bank template to cardstock, an envelope, cup, or small box.
DIY equivalent for future basswood kit.
Grace Bank
Print and cut Grace tokens. Put some in the bank and add extra tokens before the discovery moment.
More grace than we put in.
Grace Bank
You can always come home. We fix what we can because we care. But the love's not on the line.
Place inside the bank.
Grace Bank
Cut solid lines. Fold dotted lines. Adult help is welcome. Use an envelope version when cutting is not a good fit.
Prepared kits are convenience only.
Make It Work For Your Kids
- Use an envelope bank for no-cut setup.
- Pre-cut templates for younger children.
- Let a child decorate tokens instead of cutting.
- Use sticker dots or drawn circles when cutting tokens is not accessible.
- Do not make the surprise dependent on behavior.
