January Grace Quick Start
One-page leader overview for the January Grace resources.
Quick Start
Grace means love is still there when we get it wrong.
Key language: You can always come home.
Quick Start
We fix what we can because we care. But the love's not on the line.
Do not treat apology, repair, consequences, forgiveness, grace, love, and belonging as interchangeable.
Formation Background
Grace is not pretending nothing happened. Grace is love and belonging that remain true while repair, consequences, apology, and forgiveness are handled honestly.
- Avoid: Grace means actions do not matter.
- Say instead: Because love is secure, we can tell the truth and repair what we can.
- Belonging is not a prize children buy back with perfect behavior.
Scripture Connection
Luke 15:11-32 gives January its homecoming shape. Luke 15:20 anchors the image of welcome that begins before the son can finish proving himself.
- Do not flatten the parable into a behavior chart.
- Notice the return, the father running, the embrace, and the unresolved family work that remains.
- Read Scripture from an approved translation in your setting; BibleKnights stores references, not licensed verse text.
Adaptable Gathering Flows
Use what fits your group. The box may make setup easier later, but it is never required.
